1. Who we are

OpsWiss ("we", "us", "our") operates the website opswiss.com. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. For enquiries about your data, contact us at [email protected].

2. What data we collect

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across sites. It records aggregate, anonymised statistics (page views, referrers, device types). No IP addresses are stored. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.

Currency preference cookie

We store a single functional cookie named opswiss-currency that remembers your display currency preference (CHF, EUR, USD, GBP). This cookie is essential to the functioning of the site and does not track or identify you. It expires after 1 year and is not shared with third parties.

Contact form submissions

When you submit the contact or listing submission form, we collect your name, email address, and message content. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry. We retain form submissions for up to 12 months.

3. What we do not do

  • We do not use tracking pixels, Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or similar tools.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
  • We do not run behavioural advertising.
  • We do not use cookies for advertising targeting.

4. Hosting and infrastructure

OpsWiss is hosted on Hetzner servers located in Germany (EU). Data is processed within the European Economic Area (EEA). Hetzner is bound by GDPR as a processor.

5. Your rights (GDPR / nFADP)

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss new Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP), you have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restriction: Request that we limit how we use your data.
  • Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
